Does the engine of a Formula 1 car turn off when it's upside down?

If a modern Formula 1 car is turned upside down in a crash, for example, does the engine cut out automatically?

There is no such automatic switching. There is an anti stall -system that releases the clutch if the driver spins and locks the wheels. The drive has ten seconds to take the car back in control. If the driver does not reset the system with the clutch latch, the ignition is automatically cut in 10 seconds.
