How much loopholes have been fixed in F1 along the years?

How much loopholes enabling superior performance have been closed in Formula 1 racing? During the 2009 season Brawn GP cars were superior to all other cars for the majority of the season. This was due to a superior read diffusor. How were they able to do this?

Brawn was superior for the first half of the 2009 season, but this leveled down at the latter part of the season. There was a loophole in the regulations that Brawn was the first to exploit it. The other teams took quite a bit of time to catch up, but they were all equals at the end of the season. There are occasional loopholes, but other teams quickly point them out to the officials.
