Does increased wing in F1 translate to increased tyre wear?

If you set the wings to provide more downforce, will it increase tyre wear during the race?

Not necessarily. If the car is understeering a lot and you add front wing, then it can lead to redured tyre wear. Also if downforce level is increased by adding rear wing, it can also reduce tyre wear to reduced sliding and skidding.
