How much weight does the halo device add to Formula 1 cars?

For safety reasons the halo structure is now mandatory in Formula 1 from the 2018 season forward. How much weight does the halo add weight?

The maximum weight of the car and the driver in the 2018 F1 season is 734 kilograms, which is six more than in the pervious season. The weight of the halo and supporting structures, braces, etc. is around 12-14 kilograms.

Designers have had to find weight savings from elsewhere, and some of the larger drivers might need to watch their weight more so the total weight is not exceeded. The aerodynamics are also affected by the structure that needs to bare the weight of over 11 000 kilograms in stress tests.
