Limitations of fuel flow and total amount in Formula 1?
Why is there a limitation of 100 kilograms, if total flow is limited? How do the officials track this data?
The maximum fuel flow in Formula 1 cars is 100 kilograms per an hour. Because the race lasts an hour or even two - this means that you cannot burn fuel at that maximum limitation. These two different limitations are needed, because the flow limits how fast the fuel is used, where as the total amount limits the total amount.
