Number of staff F1 teams have during GP weekends?
Completing a Grand Prix weekend in Formula 1 racing requires quite a bit of staff. How many people on average participate a race weekend from individual teams? How does this differ from testing weekends?
Race weekends require a lot more people. As opposed to testing weekends, two cars are driven and you'll also need PR and other supporting staff. In larger teams the number of people involved during testing weekends is around 40-50 and during race weekeds somewhere north of 80. Because testing is so limited, teams employ few people only working in test sessions.
