What is the turbo boost pressure in F1 engines?
What are the levels of boost used in modern Formula 1 cars? And what is the Air–fuel ratio (AFR) in these engines?
Limitation in fuel flow limits practical boost pressure, because fuel can be used at a maximum rate of 100 kilograms an hour. No engine manufacture will publish exact figures of pressures and AFR values, because you could determine a lot about the engine from those values. The Air-fuel ratio will be below 14 and at high RPMs it will be a very lean mixture.
