Why aren't F1 tracks driven to the other direction?

Why don't the organizers alternate the direction races are driven in. It would be interesting to see a race driven in Spa, for example, to the other direction.

This is an interesting idea, but in reality it would require a lot of work. All the safety fences and facilities are built so that they only work safely in one direction. Safety zones around the track would be significantly different and the only feasible track would be Paul Ricard as the safety zones there are very large. But even there organizing a race in the other direction would not be trivial.
