How powerful is the power steering in an F1 car?

Is the power steering in a F1 car constant or does it change by speed? And do wide Formula car tires require a stronger power steering than a road car does?

The power steering in a Formula 1 car is much more powerful than in a production road car. They are no longer electronically controlled, due to restrictions in regulations. They are now hydraulic, so the response remains the same regardless of speed - it cannot be adjusted.
