How sensitive is the acceleration pedal in a F1 car?

How sensitive is the acceleration pedal in a Formula 1 car? Is the response linear to the power output?

It is not very sensitive, because it is setup with a spring and a damper. You really have to press down on the acceleration pedal. The pedal is not linear in response to the power output, because this is something that is variable with different engine mappings. Teams can adjust the response of the engine to the pedal for specific cars and drivers.
