Is there a delay in braking in F1 cars?

How fast does the brake pedal in a modern Formula 1 car affect the breaking power? How easy and precise is it to adjust with the foot?

The braking system in a formula car is very sensitive. All the lines are made of metal, not part rubber like in production road cars. If you lift your foot from the brake it the is directly reflected in the brake caliper. There is little delay in the system. Of course if we go to physics, there is time in fluid transfer and changes in pressure. The Formula 1 braking system is set to be as stiff as possible, so pressure is transferred fast.
