The sequel to the crowdfunded Iron Sky scifi movie from 2012 is facing more delays. In the first movie a group of Nazis hid in a secret base behind the moon to return to power in the present day. The sequel continues on the same theme.

Dubai low-cost airline Flydubai announced that it is starting direct flights from Dubai to Helsinki. Daily flights are expected to begin later this year and also provide good connecting flights for passengers flying to or from Helsinki.

The Futuro is a plastic house designed by architect Matti Suuronen in 1968. The world's only Futuro house open to the general public is located in Espoo, Finland. The fifty year old eccentric building is located in the exhibition center Weegee.

Swedish Björn Mattson should have moved to by 330 kilometers to a new location. He hesitated and was thrown to the streets. Now he is living on a ferry boat traveling between Stockholm and Mariehamn indefinitely, until he gets an apartment or runs out of money to buy the tickets.

According to latest statistics from the European Central Bank, Finland has the lowest interest rates for mortgages. According to the ECB in February 2018 Finns paid a mere 0,92 percent interest rates for new home loans.
